Why Join?
Strength in Numbers
Our mission is to support positive outcomes for students through the use of Direct Instruction and related educational practices. When you join ADI, you are helping to build an active and vocal community of educators and other interested citizens who share our vision of an excellent education for every student. We strengthen the field of education by educating teachers, administrators and parents through our excellent professional development offerings. We advocate for effective practices in schools. We educate community stakeholders and decision makers about the role effective practices and curriculum have on educational outcomes. For ADI to be a strong and effective voice for the DI community, we need your support.
Be Informed
We partner with other like-minded organizations to provide you with information, resources, and tools. Your membership also provides member pricing through our online store and to our industry-leading workshops and conferences.
Be Connected
All professionals, regardless of field, can benefit from expanding their professional network. Our members include industry leaders, program authors, and like-minded educators. Through our volunteer committees, you can strengthen your skills and open opportunities for future partnerships. Our online forum allows for the sharing of best practices, communication with other members, and our Job Board. Every summer we host the National Direct Instruction Conference in Eugene, Oregon and bring together educators from across the globe. If you want to be, and stay, connected to the DI community, there is no better way than through your ADI membership.

"I have been a member of ADI for about 10 years. Of most value to me is the annual conference, which I have attended about 8 times. The National Conference benefits me because of the skill and experience of the presenters, the range of sessions from which to choose, and the opportunity to network with other implementers. Most important, though, is the practice one gains during the sessions following modeling from the presenters - it's not just TALK from the presenters. Invariably, the handouts they provide are practical and applicable."
