Who We Are
ADI is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to promoting and supporting the use of Direct Instruction programs.
Membership is open to anyone who is interested in supporting the use of effective educational practices in schools. Our members come from around the globe and include administrators, teachers, parents and community members.
What We Do
We provide Training, Support, Research, Resources, Access to Industry Leaders, & Networking Opportunities not available anywhere else.
We host the National DI Conference each summer. Our regional workshops and conferences are the best in the industry. We publish DI News and the Journal of Direct Instruction. We are the Clearinghouse for all things DI. We are the VOICE of the DI Community.
Who Should Belong to ADI?
Most of our members use Direct Instruction programs, or have a strong interest in using those programs. Many people who do not use Direct Instruction programs have joined ADI due to their interest in receiving our publications, The Journal of Direct Instruction and Direct Instruction News. JODI is a peer-reviewed professional publication containing new and reprinted research related to effective instruction. Direct Instruction News focuses on success stories, news and reviews of new programs and materials and information on using DI more effectively.

| Student | $40 | Includes one year subscription to ADI publications, and a 40% discount on ADI sponsored events and a 20% discount on materials sold by ADI. |
| Sustaining | $100 | Includes one Regular membership privileges and recognition of your support in Direct Instruction News. |
| Institutional | $200 | Includes 5 subscriptions to ADI publications and regular membership privileges for 5 staff people. |

"I have been a member of ADI for about 10 years. Of most value to me is the annual conference, which I have attended about 8 times. The National Conference benefits me because of the skill and experience of the presenters, the range of sessions from which to choose, and the opportunity to network with other implementers. Most important, though, is the practice one gains during the sessions following modeling from the presenters - it's not just TALK from the presenters. Invariably, the handouts they provide are practical and applicable."
